A Psalm For Me

The Lord heard my prayer

As I face daily trouble.

The Lord heard my cry

And felt my burden and pain.

He answered me,

For He knows my heart’s feelings.

I claim His word.

I praise my Lord.

For His love endures forever.

What can man do to me?

The Lord is with me!

I am surrounded, but they are cut off.

Yes, I’m surrounded, but in the name of the Lord

I cut them off!

I will not die, but live,

And proclaim what the Lord has done.

I will give the Lord thanks today, and everyday

For He answered me.

He is the stone the builders rejected

That has become the capstone, and

This day and everyday is the day the Lord has made.

Rejoice and be glad in it.

Yes, rejoice and be glad in this day,

For the Lord is God,

And He has made His light shine upon us.

Dear God, You are my God,

And I will exalt You.

I will give thanks to my Lord.

He is good, and His Word is good

As I am blessed by Psalm 118 of David,

Which is a Psalm for me.

Yes, God is good.

His love endures forever.
