all’s like a hazard as issues hit you like a blizzard;
When anything seems like it is too much, and everything’s in a crunch;
Then sit down in your 'ol reliable',
and pour out a tall drink
of the Holy Bible.
God’s
Word refreshes like none other,
For
He is a friend closer than a brother.
So
take in the coolness of this promised gift,
Stepping
out of what seemed like
An
overworked double shift,
And
drench yourself
In
the never-ending source of peace,
Feeling
the total, total, total release,
While
you sit back, relax,
Throwing
your feet up,
And
enjoying the long-lasting drink,
From
this,
God’s Word,
His
most precious cup.
