With its bite, flesh is caught

Teeth of sin, secure what’s bought

Hidden place near forgot

Through Jesus Christ, it is sought

Sin revealed, it runs not

Faith secure, the battle’s fought

Jesus saves, sin will rot

By Him salvation is brought

In the end, what’s begot?

Trust in Jesus, must be taught!
