When Jesus calls,

Can we follow too close?

When He goes to Jerusalem,

Can we follow too close?

When He comes to the cross,

Can we follow too close?

We are afraid . . . but must follow Him

We may be anxious . . . but can not go ahead

We are free to go our way . . . but must not stray

We will follow Jesus,

But we can never be following too close
