When did I begin to think my
growth was dependant upon myself?
Oh, to some extent with my
hands,
I can feed myself,
And my talents give me work,
For which I can provide for
myself,
But who gave my hands to me,
And who pours talents into
me?
God created me,
God gives me gifts, skills,
and talents,
And only God gives me
growth.
God provides.
God expands.
I am dependent upon God.
All He is, He gives to me.
I am dependent on God;
He is my source,
He is my fountain,
He is my sustenance.
Only by God will I grow.
Only in Him will I survive.
My dependency is on my God,
He is my growth.
