Israel . . . Israel

My home so far away,

You have my heart,

Which so many seas set apart,

God’s love brought back to stay!

Thy beauty calls my name,

Your doors open,

To ears that hear, you have spoken,

Welcoming those that came.

My life you do consume,

Within your walls,

The message of God calls,

Saving us from death’s doom.

My feet rush to your King,

His coming told,

In prophecies of old,

Messiah is coming!

I love to hear that sound,

Your voice cries out,

The Watchmen answer with a shout,

Here Jesus Christ is found!

I’ll see you soon, I pray,

When Christ returns,

He’ll seize the heart which yearns,

JESUS IS HERE TO STAY!!
