The double mouth of the Serpent, Opened and ready to strike; His
teeth are fierce and sharp,
Dripping with the blood of victims past.
Cocked and ready to fire, his power prepared to shoot, The
double mouth of the Serpent is staged to attack
The unprotected skin of anyone who draws close. Longing for flesh, straining for release, The poison of the tongue oozes from the double mouth of this Serpent. The
one mouth is smaller than the other, Yet,
the seat it takes is above the lower. Curses
and blasphemes scream from the one, While the smaller tempts and taunts with lies. Never closing, always poised to be filled, The double mouth of the Serpent
Accuses and claims his right to our flesh.
Full of vile, filthy, vomitous deeds, These
mouths gag from gorging on themselves. Proud
of their beauty, But
without eyes to behold,
The double mouth of the Serpent seeks its
claim.
“Cut off its head”, the frightful cry is heard, but
gone the ones calling out. Don's approach the double mouth of this Serpent, Or your words for mercy will heard,
But only by other ears, and not your own.
Christ Jesus has slain this Serpent, its body cast away. Soon
in agonizing punishment, The
crushed head of the double mouthed Serpent
Will succumb to its death. Stray close to Jesus, and do not fear this loathsome beast, But stray into the grasp Of
the double mouth of this Serpent, And
die the death it will know ….
Forever.
